Yaesu ATAS-120A

The ATAS-120 mobile antenna system is designed for use with Yaesu transceivers equipped with the ATAS system, such as the FT-897, FT-857, FT-847 and FT-100D. It utilises a motorised tuning system which resonates the radiating element for the lowest SWR using control voltages sent to the ATAS-120 via the coaxial cable connected to your rig. Designed to mount directly onto a standard SO-239 mobile antenna mount (not supplied). In addition to HF/50MHz, operation on the 144 and 430MHz bands require a diplexer for the FT-857 or triplexer for the FT-847 which may additionally be purchased.

Also an optional ATBK-100 Antenna base kit is available. MFJ now make a manual control box (MFJ-1925I2) which enables the ATAS-120 to be used with the IC-706MkIIG and the MFJ-1925 for use with other rigs.
